sharpened h-index (self & coauthor)

A simple way of accounting for self-citations with respect to impact is to simply remove them from each publication's citation counts prior to calculating a metric. For the base calculation of h this is known as the sharpened h-index (Schreiber 2007).

One complication is that there may be multiple methods for defining self-citations. In this case we remove any citations by the target author and any of the coauthors to their own publications.
