publications per year
This metric, also called the time-scaled number of publications is just the mean number of publications per year, calculated as the total number of publications of an author divided by their academic age (number of years since their first publication),
$$P^{TS}=\frac{P}{\text{academic age}}=\frac{P}{Y-Y_0+1},$$where \(Y\) is the current year and \(Y_{0}\) is the year of their first publication.
